If you are working in the care sector, you have to prove professionalism. ECC training helped me acquire a proper understanding and basic knowledge of how to be a good care-worker, how to deliver quality services to people I work with, and how to prevent and avoid job-related risks. A benefit of the ECC is that it is in line with the basic European care legislation and standards. I highly recommend ECC to all those who intend to work in the care sector.    

The ECC training taught me to provide support based on the needs of the person, and respecting human rights and values ​​(dignity, privacy, independence and respect) in line with the UN CRPD. Thanks to it, I now provide guidance to parents/caregivers of a person with disabilities, even some employees in the social and educational field. Most importantly, it made became a good caregiver for my little girl with disabilities.

I have passed the ECC exam 5 years ago. At the time, I was working as social carer in a organization providing support for people with disabilities in Limassol but after the successful results, I have managed to find work in an organization in Denmark and I live and work there since then. ECC have changed my life.

I started in Italy, continued in Germany and am currently working in Austria thanks to the ECC Certificate. 

I've learned to listen better to what's important to clients. This is a  significant contribution to a more independent life.

Preparing for the exam made me more aware of my behavior. I now see many things from the clients' perspective. I found the exchange and reflection on relevant areas of work very enriching.
